Hello Cy freund,  Ich war´s nicht Ich hab´nicht gemacht

I hope that the Holidays are good for all,  we come from Britain in France and we have a bad weather  Verlegen , it's raining there, after 4 days we return by Normandy and we have the sun with us,

It's a great Land a we have eating sometime fresh seafruit and fish, it was nice.

Well to return to our minibikes , Is anyone know If it's possible to put a 80cc cylinder head on a 100cc bottom end complete with pistons and cylinder.

I want to knowing that because I have found a 100cc engine but like always the same problem with the Honda's Head when we lose to put good oil , the head is kaput where is the cameschaft,

The cameshaft's journals are ovalised...

In advance thank you for a answer.

You could even put the head of a 49cc bike on the XR100 bottom end, because of the flat top piston.
The XR80 head fits just fine, the valves are the same as used in the 100 head.
You could check your oil filter to see if the flow of oil isn`t blocked there, chanses are you could end up destroying your new head because of oil starvation if you just put it on and go.

Hello titizebird,

check the Oil-Flow. once I boght an engine, with new head. The old one had the same problem:

the head is kaput where is the cameschaft,
The cameshaft's journals are ovalised...

One problem for the less oilflow - the oilfilter

or the oilflow between bottom and zylinder...
-You must cut out the "sealing-channel"

and check the oil-pump.
With all the "dirt" in the engine, i changed the Öil three times and allways cleand the oilfilter. Now it works  grinseman

Have a look

Hello Stephan,

well, thank you for your advice ;) , but at the moment, I am restoring the motor completly, as fact so definitely "rearfender".
before taking back up all engine, I shall put a high debit oil pomp "kitako" inside. oh yes I have found for a good price a complete kit Kitaco 115cc with ultra SE Head ,kitaco tipper with regulatings of valves in titanium,
I am going to make a "Hell''s engine  RollRoll.
I am delighted to take back up the motor, but I lack a XR100 crankshaft  HuchHuch? , because mine is of a XL100s, it is too long to accept the electronic ignition of XR100....
still thank you,
 see you soon
